Purex Natural Elements Tropical Splash Detergent Review

Nobody really likes doing laundry, right?  So I won’t lie and say this detergent made the tasks of making smelly, dirty clothes clean a joy, but it did make them smell really nice.

I’m not a big fan of perfume-y soaps and what not, but for a scented laundry detergent Purex tropical wasn’t overly tropical and I like that.  It also contained natural ingredients and is hypoallergenic and dye free, which means I can use it one my daughter’s clothes.  She has contact allergies and her clothes have to be laundered in dye-free detergents.  And, in my opinion, it works just as effectively as the pricer brands that won’t be named.  So I say, keep your money in your pocket and try a more economical choice.  Purex Natural Elements.

Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends Review

You would think that we were the kids, the way that hubby and i love cereal!  Anywho, I was sent a sample of the new Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends to try and hubby was stoked, until he saw that it contained coconut.  Oh, well, more for me!!!

This cereal was great.  I love food that takes me back to places that I've been and because of the coconut, it took me straight back to a trip to Jamaica I enjoyed a couple of years ago.   The coconut wans't over powering and the granola clusters, yummy!  I so heart granola, but that's another story for another time.  Don't miss out.  This cereal will become a staple once you try it.

Soft Scrub All Purpose Cleaner Review

This is one of those times where I wish I wasn't ashamed to show you how dirty my bathtub was!  I used the Soft Scrub All Purpose Cleaner to clean my very grimy upstairs and downstairs bathrooms and was soooo impressed about how well it cleaned.  And I love the lemon scent it left behind.  I was a big user of bleach to clean and whiten my home, but with a daughter with skin concerns and allergies, I needed somethind less caustic.  Soft Scrub seems to fit the bill.

I was sent a sample of Soft Scrub All Purpose Cleaner to sample in my home.  Although the product was free the opinions and thought are my own.

20Mule Team Borax Review

Growing up, I had seen Borax in my grandmother's kitchen but I'd never knew what it was used for, or waht it was for that matter.  Needless to say, when I ran across it in the grocery store, I'd just walk on by.  But when I was given a sample to test, I found that 20 Team Mule Borax has LOTS of uses.  My fave so far is using it in the dishwasher to help soften hard water and remove spots and build up from dishes.  My dishes have come out of the washer cleaner and with no residue.

I've also used it to help boost the cleaning power of my laundry detergent.  It also helps get rid of odors in workout gear and towels.

20 Team Mule Borax has become a staple in my home.  Now I know why its been a household favorite for so many years.

Purex Baby Detergent Review

I was given a bottle of Purex Baby to sample which was right on time because my baby has allergies and eczema.  I've used in all the the loads of laundry that I've had for her for the last few weeks and I have to say that I'm impressed.  It doesn't that that "no smell" smell to it and it cleans great.  I love that fact that I can use it on her clothing and bedding and it still smells laundered.

Dial Antibacterial Foaming Hand wash review

I was sent 2 bottles of Dial foaming hand wash to try in my home.   I have to admit, it took a bit of getting used to instead of running your hands under water to wet and creat suds, the suds are already made for you!  My daughter loves that she was able to get a sample for her bathroom.

All in all, I have to give it a thumbs up.  The smell is great and it rinses off with no residue.  We'll be adding this to our grocery list.

Post Honey Bunches of Oats Review

DH and I love cereal!!! In fact, we eat more cereal than our daughter!! So when I got the opportunity to sample Honey Bunches of Oats, we were super excited.

I have to admit I love sweet kiddie cereals but can't eat them all the time for obvious reasons.  ALL that sugar's not good for you!  This was the perfect combo of sweet and healthy.  I love the cripsy flakes and the sweet little nuggets were just sweet enough.   Hubby gave it two thumbs up.

As a Purex Insider, I was given this box to try out but the opinion is all mine.
